Doris + Tavo = Pau Preview

El Sábado pasado tuve la super divertida sesión de fotos de Doris con motivo de que ella y Tavo esperan a la bendición más linda de su vida llamada Paulina. Aquí un preview de la sesión que espero poder bloggear pronto.

Last Saturday was the super fun shooting of Doris celebrating that she and Tavo are waiting for the arrival of their biggest blassing in their lives named Paulina. Here is a preview of the session which I hope I can blog soon.

Happy Thanksgiving !

No seré breve esta vez, pero es necesario =)

A finales del 2007 Kari y Lalo confiaron en mí. Ellos decidieron darme la oportunidad de capturar su momentos más felices y yo me dí la oportunidad de tomar el primer paso en un negocio que amo basado en un arte que desde hace años era la vida para mí.

Desde Noviembre del 2007 hasta este 2008 que ya agoniza he tenido experiencias increibles fotografiando bodas, he presenciado momentos alegres, emotivos, fuertes pero sobre todo que no se van a repetir jamáz. Todos sucederán solo una vez en la vida y nunca volverán, y les doy las gracias a todos ustedes que están en estas imágenes por darme a mí ese regalo, el del ser testigo de esos días dichosos.

Les estoy agradecido, mucho, porque atravéz de su confianza, su alegría, su boda, han hecho que yo queria ser un mejor fotógrafo, un mejor profesional pero sobre todo una mejor persona.

Muchas gracias Kari y Lalo, muchas gracias Paty y Emilio, muchas gracias Elida y Alejandro, muchas gracias Ari y Aldo, muchas gracias Vero y Julio, muchas gracias Flaca y Chava, muchas gracias Dulce y Michael, muchas gracias Cindy y Leo, muchas gracias Fabi y Adam, muchas gracias Analía y Sergio, muchas gracias Lelis y Orlando y muchas gracias Arminda y Ray porque han hecho que pase momentos muy felices este año y espero devolverles un poquito de esa felicidad atravéz de mis imágenes. Si no fuera por ustedes, mis clientes, no habría motivación para seguir y soñar.

También gracias a todos los que han pasado por mi lente aunque no sea necesariamente una boda, a toda la gente que siempre ha creido que este chango tiene un poco de talento y me ha hechado muchas porras y siempre han estado ahí recordándomelo, ustedes sabesn quienes son y sobre todo, gracias a todas las parejas que decidieron confiar en mí desde hoy para ser testigo de su boda el próximo año.

Finalmente, gracias Vero, eres mi vida, la razón de todo esto.

Gracias Fer, sin tu ayuda, esto quizá nunca hubiera despegado.

I apologize for not being brief this time, it's necessary :)

Towards the end of 2007 Kari and Lalo trusted me. They decided to give me the chance of capturing the most beautiful moments of their lives and I gave me the chance to myself to start a business that now I love based on a craft that it's been my life since already a few years: Photography.

Since November of 2007 though these final weeks of 2008, I have had the chance to live incredible moments photographing weddings. I had been witness of very happy moments, emotional and strong as well but mostly unique since they will only happen once in a life time. I am very thankful to all of that are in those images because you have given me the gift of being a witness of those precious moments.

I am very thankful to you all since through your happiness, your trust, your wedding, you have made me want to be a better photographer, a better professional but among all a better person.

Thanks a lot Kary and Lalo, thanks a lot Paty and Emilio, thanks a lot Elida and Alejandro, Thanks a lot Ari and Aldo, thanks a lot Vero and Julio, thanks a lot Dulce and Michael, thanks a lot Flaca and Chava, thanks a lot Cindy and Leo, thanks a lot Fabi and Adam, thanks a lot Analía and Sergio, thanks a lot Lelia and Orlando, thanks a lot Arminda and Ray, you have given me a lot of happiness this year and I hope that my photos have given you at least a tine bit of that happiness to you. Without you, my clients, there wouldn't be any motivation for keep working, for keep dreaming. Thanks.

Also, thanks a lot to all of you that have being photographed by me, not necessarily in a wedding and also, thank you all who have always believed that this monkey behind the camera has some talent and you are always there to cheer me up and remain me so, you know who you are. Also, thank you all who have already trusted be today to be your photographer in 2009, thank you so much.

Finally, thank you Vero, you are my life, you are the reason for all this.

Thank you Fer, without your help, all this might have never been real.

Cindy + Leo Formal Session

Como ya había comentado en mi post anterior, el fin de semana tuve el gusto de volver a ver a Cindy y Leo para su sesión formal porque el día de su boda estuvimos muy apurados y el tiempo no nos dejó hacer estos clicks. El sábado solo tuvimos pocos minutos para la sesión pero sólo buscamos una imagen, así que espero que la misión haya sido cumplida.

As I mentioned on my previous post last weekend I had the chance to see Cindy and Leo again for their formal session. On their wedding day we didn't have enough time to take those clicks so we had to make it up. On Saturday we only had a few minutes for the shoot but we were looking for just one great photo so, I hope that the mission was accomplished.

Arminda + Ray Preview

El domingo pasado tuve el gusto de cubrir una de las bodas más padres de este año que fué la de Arminda y Ray. Una boda íntima, familiar y en casa. Aquí un pequeñísimo adelanto de la bella decoración de la boda. Mas fotillos próximamente.

Last Sunday I had the pleasure to shoot one of the coolest weddings of the year, which was Arminda and Ray's wedding. A very intimate wedding celebrated in their home. Here is a tiny preview of their wedding's decoration. More pics to come soon.

Our Honeymoon Part 2 - Samaná & St. Thomas

Después de dejar NY Vero y Yo tuvimos nuestra siguiente parada en República Dominicana por unas horas, solo estuvimos unas poquitas horas ya que el barco se retrasó saliendo de NY debido a un oleaje nada agradable camino a República Dominicana, pero fue una experiencia muy divertida, al siguiente día visitamos la Isla de St Thomas, de las Islas Vírgenes de EU, en las que si disfrutamos de un día entero y nos quemamos la piel de lo lindo con el sol.

After leaving NY, Vero and I had our next stop in Samaná, Dominican Republic. We only had a few hours to explore the island since our ship was delayed due to some nasty sea conditions after we departed from NY; However, it was such a fun experience. The next day we stopped in St. Thomas, one of the U.S. Virgin Islands, where we enjoyed ourselves for the whole day and we ended up with an awesome skin burn.

Lelia + Orlando's Wedding

El fin de semana pasado fuí a mi ciudad natal en un viaje relámpago para cubiri la boda de Lelia y Orlando. El cariño que le tengo a Lelia es como el que se le tiene a un familiar, su hermano ha sido uno de mis amigos/hermanos desde que ibamos en la secundaria y desde hace más de 12 años tengo el privilegio de conocerla. Le deseo con todo mi corazón que sea muy feliz en su nueva vida junto a Orlando y que Dios los llene de bendiciones.

Last weekend I made an express trip to my hometown in Puebla, Mexico to shoot Lelia and Orlando's wedding. For me Lelia is like part of my family, her brother has been one of my best friends and brothers since we were in middle school and it's been more than 12 years since I have had the pleasure to know her. I wish her the best with all my heart and may her new life with Orlando may be full of joy and happiness. God bless you both!

Our Honeymoon Part 1 - NYC

Durante 3 días Vero y yo nos dedicamos a recorrer NY, de día y de noche, admirar sus maravillosos edificios, transitar por sus ajetreadas calles y contemplar las obras de genios como Picasso, Van Gogh y Dalí. En esta ciudad uno encuentra todo.

Tratar de resumir Nueva York en unas cuantas fotos es imposible, su escencia va más ayá de los clicks. Seguramente volveremos, ojalá pronto.

For 3 days Vero and I dedicated ourselves to get to know NY; day and night, we admired their marvelous skyscrapers, we walked through it's busy streets and we saw the magnificent works of geniuses like Picasso, Van Gogh or Dalí. NYC has everything.

Trying to capture New York in just a few photographs is impossible, NY's essence goes further than just a few 'clicks'. We'll go back for sure, soon hopefully.

Analia + Sergio's San Miguel de Allende Wedding

Esta es la segunda parte de las fotos de Analia y Sergio, una boda bellísima en un Pueblo Mágico de México, definitivamente una fiesta digna de una pareja maravillosa. Una vez mas les agradezco por su increible hospitalidad y le agradezco a Fer el detallazo de invitarme, espero que haya mas experiencias de estas en el futuro. Gracias!

This is the second part of the photos from Analia and Sergio, a beautiful wedding in one of the Magical Towns of Mexico, definitely a party worthy of such a wonderful couple. Once again I want to say thank you Analia and Sergio for your hospitality and thanks Fer for inviting me, I look forward for more experiences like this one in the future.

Analia + Sergio E-Session

Cuando Fer Juaristi me invito de second shooter a la boda de Analia y Sergio en San Miguel de Allende no lo pensé demasiado, tenía que ir. Ya en San Miguel, tuve el gusto de conocer a Analia y a Sergio y da gusto trabajar con parejas tan amantes de la fotografia como ellos. Hubo una química entre todos fantástica y de verdad fue un placer conocerlos y llevarme tan bien con ellos tan pronto. Gracias a Fer y a Analia y Sergio por dejarme ser parte de este evento tan bello.

When Fer Juaristi invited me to join him in San Miguel de Allende as a second shooter for Analia and Sergio's wedding I didn't think much about it. In San Miguel I had the pleasure to meet Analia and Sergio and all that I can say is that it is a joy to work with a couple that loves photography so much. There was a fantastic chemistry among all us and it was a pleasure to meet them and get along with them in such a short time. Thanks a lot Fer, Analia and Sergio for letting me join to such a beautiful event!
